Arclight to start sales in Berlin on Cavegirl The Movie

The film’s UK film producer Andy Bell of Metropolis Films announced the deal on Friday [Feb 1].

Music video and commercials director Andy Morahan will direct from a screenplay by Daniel Peacock and production is scheduled to commence this summer in South Africa.

Cavegirl The Movie is an a family comedy that takes place in the Stone Age as a young girl and boy are captured by traders and reunite 10 years later during a war. Jennifer Stone has been cast and the producers plan to unveil more names in Berlin.

The producers said the project is fully financed through equity investment in the UK and South Africa.

UK-South African production house Spier Films is also producing.
